Nguon Rattanak, Governor of Kampong Thom Province and his team has inspected the site to prepare for the inauguration ceremony for the concrete bridge across Stung Sen, which will take place on March 26, as a gift from Prime Minister Hun Sen, and First Lady Bun Rany Hun Sen, at Cal Mek village, Tbong Krapeu commune, Santuk district, Kampong Thom, on March 22.
Kieng Sengky, Chief of Tbong Krapeu Commune, mentioned that the concrete bridge across Stung Sen, which is now completed, is 180 meters long, 8.8 meters wide with a height of 12.2 meters. This bridge is the connection point between Cal Mek village, Tbong Krapeu commune, Santuk district to Prey Kuy commune, Kampong Svay district, Kampong Thom province to facilitate the travel of people easily and safely to transport various products in the local area.
Rattanak urged local authorities to take care of the infrastructure in the community, which is important for people to travel to reduce costs. Some achievements that come from the attention of the Royal Government in the development of the country to grow steadily with high quality and efficiency.
