In the past 11 months, the Ministry of Public Works has sold a large number of special personal and capital-provincial license plates to add money to the public revenue.
According to the report of the Inter-Ministerial Commission for the Management of Sales of Vehicle Registration Numbers, the Ministry of Public Works and Transport sold 4,802 special personal license plates which added approximately $ 8.5 million to the national budget. The ministry also sold 25,364 special capital-provincial license plate which added approximately $6.73 million to the national budgets. The numbers were recorded during the 11 months of 2021.
During the Sub-Committee on Pricing and Sales or Auction meeting, the Secretary of State of the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Chairperson of the Inter-Ministerial Commission, Koy Sodany, expressed gratitude for the work of the sub-committee in furthering the information technology.
The Secretary of State also thanked the Public Service Advisory Centre for responding and providing information to the people and solving problems in a timely manner. Secretary of State Sodany also highlighted the achievements in the wide-spread dissemination of information.
Secretary of State Sodany also outlined an action plan to publicize the sale of personal special license plate, particularly inviting companies to cooperate with the ministry in publicizing the DIGITAL advertising campaign plan.
