On the morning of February 19, 2024, Prime Minister Hun Manet, Prime Minister of Cambodia, inaugurated the construction site of Chak Angrae Krom-Prek Pra Bridge. He said that infrastructure connectivity is an important goal of the Royal Government in promoting national development.For more information, the bridge crossing the Bassac River (Chak Angrae Krom-Prek Pra), which is currently under construction, is the 16th bridge to be built under the concession loan from the People's Republic of China.
The project to build a bridge across the Bassac River connecting Chak Angrae Krom-Prek Pra area has a total length of 1,650 meters and a width of 27 meters, which is available for two lanes for cars, one lane for motorcycles and one lane for pedestrians. The bridge project will be completed in 42 months.In an interview with CNC, Sorn Seab, president of the CVEA, said, "The government's major infrastructure projects are always pushing up land prices in the area, which is a positive sign." However, he added that it is still difficult to conclude whether the real estate sector in Cambodia can recover like in 2008!
