Two paved roads with a total length of 13.30 km were officially inaugurated and put into use for the people of Kratie.
The inauguration ceremony was held on May 18 and was presided over by the Governor of Kratie Va Thorn.
The first stretch of road measures 8.30 km and connects Sangkat O’Russey to National Road 7 and is located in Banteay Village, Koulab Commune, Chit Borei District. The second road measures five kilometres long and connects Krakor Commune, Kratie City to Koulab Commune, Chit Borei District.
Lim Cheav Hav, Director of Kratie Provincial Department of Rural Development, said that the two roads were built by the Provincial Department of Rural Development with the budget of the Ministry of Rural Development. The roads are necessary to facilitate traffic in the city, as well as connect the city to the countryside.
Kratie’s Governor said that this is one of the many new achievements that Kratie is developing with the attention of the Royal Government of Cambodia.
