The Ministry of Public Works and Transport (MPWT) is repairing and maintaining eight major national and provincial roads in Ratanakiri and Tbong Khmum provinces to ease inter-provincial travel and cargo transportation.
According to the Ratanakkiri and Tbong Khmum Provincial Departments of Public Works and Transport on 06 March, the eight roads include National Roads 7, 8, 73, 76, 78, 78-5, and Provincial Roads 373C, 373, and 3789.
The work being carried out includes drawing traffic signs, paving, protecting the top layer, compacting, and installing drainage systems.
Meanwhile, the objective of the maintenance is to improve road quality and to extend the life-span of road usage.
MPWT also urged people to continuously send pictures of damaged roads through the Road Care Mobile App so that officers can take action accordingly.
