Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport and China’s Chang'an University have reached a memorandum of understanding on technical cooperation of road construction and infrastructure development.
The MoU was signed on June 15 in the presence of H.E. Ms. Im Nithara, Secretary of State at the Ministry of Public Works and Transport and Chang'an University’s relevant officials and representatives of the China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC) in Cambodia.
Under the MoU, the two parties will cooperate on technical skill development, joint research, technical assistance on education and training, exchange of officials, students, professors, researchers and information, and so on.
H.E. Ms. Im Nithara said the MoU is a very important element contributing to the effective building of human resources between Techo Sen Institute of Public Works and Transport and Chang'an University, ensuring the quality of education and providing technical assistance to students to expand employment opportunities, skills and knowledge.
Mr. Fan Wen, Vice Dean of Chang'an University, underlined that the cooperation will support the creation of a joint curriculum between the two institutes.
Mr. Zhou Yong, Director General of CRBC for Cambodia, said that the company aims to enhance cooperation between China and Cambodia on infrastructure construction and actively participate in the development of infrastructure, education and public works and transport sectors in Cambodia.
