The Takeo Department of Rural Development continued to repair roads in the province that were damaged by overweight trucks and weather conditions. The Department is planning to repair a 12-kilometre stretch of road in Bati District. The project was approved for repair and renovation after the residents of the area requested it. The DBST road connects National Road 2, Wat Angrun to National Road 3, Chbar Morn. Liv Samnang, Director of the Department of Rural Development of Takeo, told local news on May 16, that the people in Komarachea Commune have asked for help to repair one of the above roads, so far the Provincial Department of Rural Development has submitted machinery to repair more than 50 percent of the damaged road and will continue to repair. He said that the repair of the road is with the direct support and guidance of Professor Ouk Rabun, Minister of Rural Development and Ouch Phea, Governor of the Takeo. The Governor asked the Provincial Department of Rural Development to inspect the feasibility of this road, which the people asked the authorities to repair the road.
