Senior Minister and Minister of Public Works and Transport, Sun Chanthol, instructed relevant officials to continue to improve the quality of roads and train more people to be able to work in the sector.Senior Minister Chanthol made this remark during the opening ceremony of the meeting to review the achievements of public works and transportation in 2021 and work direction for 2022. The meeting was conducted under the theme of “Improving climate change resilient transport infrastructure, quality management, construction and maintenance of roads with a focus on modern technology.” The meeting took place on January 27. The Senior Minister urged officials in all sectors to make efforts to provide public services to all citizens, improve climate change resistant infrastructure and construct, as well as manage roads and bridges by using modern technology.Senior Minister Chanthol also highlighted the goals for 2022 including: promotion of information technology in field of public works, transportation and logistics, establishment of a Telegram page to monitor traffic law enforcement, inspecting overweight vehicles, limiting and inspecting garages, etc.
